The pinless moisture meter uses a dielectric measurement method that eliminates the need to insert electrodes or probes into the material to be measured. The high-frequency sensor technology allows the moisture meter to detect moisture content at a depth of 20mm below the surface of the object, and it can test all kinds of materials without destruction.

The MESTEK WM710 Pinless Moisture Meter for Non-Destructive Moisture Detection in Drywall, Wood, and Masonry has an alarm function. When the instrument is measuring, the alarm sound of the buzzer changes with the measured humidity value, giving out warnings of different frequencies (RISK, slow buzzer sound warning, WET humidity alarm, rapid buzzer sound).

The meter also has a HOLD/ZERO function. The hold function allows you to see the same value when you turn on the device again, even if you have held the value and then turned off the instrument. The zero function performs a 0-point calibration based on the current air humidity or the humidity of the measured object.

The pinless moisture meter can also accurately measure temperature, with a measuring range of 14~140℉ (−10~60℃) and an accuracy of ±2.0℃/3℉. You can press the (℃/℉) key to convert between ℃ and ℉.

To save battery power, the damp meter will automatically shut down after 10 minutes of no operation. You can press and hold the "HOLD" button in the shutdown state to power on and cancel this function.
